Tokens & Tips Explained
Tokens are the currency of most major cam networks. CumFan never sells tokens — you buy them on the partner site after choosing a room from our fan-community rankings grid.
What tips usually unlock
- Tip menu items (toys, outfit changes, songs).
- Goal progress toward group shows.
- Private or exclusive one-on-one time.
- Fan club perks on some platforms.
Etiquette that gets you better shows
Greet once. Read the room topic and rules. Tip for specific menu items instead of spamming tiny tips. If the performer is mid-goal, ask before derailing. Lurkers are welcome in free chat — silence is fine.
Budget without regret
Set a session limit before you open the wallet. Free chat is enough to judge chemistry. Use our preview modal on model cards, then tip only when the energy matches. Mobile apps sometimes add a small surcharge — check the partner checkout screen.

Reading a tip menu without rushing
Open the menu, note minimum tip sizes, and ignore chatters who spam “PM me.” Performers publish menus so you do not have to guess. If a price looks unclear, ask once in free chat — then decide.
Group shows and cascading goals
Some rooms run multi-step tip goals (outfit → toy → exclusive). Joining mid-goal is fine; you are not obliged to finish someone else’s goal. Set your own session budget before the cascade starts climbing.
Refunds and chargebacks
Token purchases are handled by the partner processor. Chargebacks can lock accounts. If a stream drops, use the partner’s support flow rather than arguing in chat. CumFan cannot reverse partner charges.
